What a difference a week makes: last Sunday I ran the Lewes 10 and everyone was complaining it was too hot! Not a problem today as the rain came down. Still this is cross country, and we run whatever the weather: and in spite of the weather there was record breakeing turn out with 213 finishers for the senior race. Thanks to Eastbourne Rovers for hosting the event.
First team was Lewes AC followed by Hailsham Harriers and Eastbourne/Seaford
Men: first Ross Skelton (Hastings AC), second Kris Everett (Hastings AC), third Scot Harris (Eastbourne).
Ladies: first Emma Rollings (Arena 80), second Sarah Roff (Heathfield), third Sally Norris (Lewes)
Juniors: first Ziggy Henry (Wadhurst Runners), second Alfie Johnstone (Crowborough Runners), third Jack Bailey (Heathfield Road Runners)
Full results are on the results page. There are also just over 200 photos on the photo page. There are some unintended special affects on some courtesy of the rain. The photo's were taken by my wife Lorraine, who braved the elements, now the offical league photographer. Feel free to download photos.
